Appellate

Description

An appeal is a process under which a superior legal authority reviews the decision of a lower authority. In the United States, for most types of cases, litigants generally have a right to appeal a finding. Such a finding may come from a trial court, administrative agency, or in some cases, an arbitrator. Appellate lawyers are responsible for arguing questions of law to support their client’s argument that the initial authority reached an improper conclusion. At IBL, we strive to provide our clients with the most efficient and timely legal advice concerning their appellate rights and outlooks.
